The cotyledon tomentosa (bear’s paw or kitten’s paw) is a succulent native to South Africa. Like all tomentose plants, it has leaves, flowers and stems covered in feathers.
The leaves, the size of a grape, feel plump and soft to the touch, like the paws of a baby animal.
In spring, they form large orange, bell-shaped flowers. See our comparison of the size of pots we usually use and tips for caring for succulents and cacti here !
