Echeveria cante is a very beautiful species related to Echeveria subrigida. It was only named recently, although the plant has long been cultivated as a subrigida or under the name Echeveria rosei.
The new name pays homage to the Cante Institute and the San Miguel de Allende Botanical Garden in Mexico.
This echeveria contains pruin in its leaves which gives it its white hue. During transportation it may lose some of this white powder, which is normal. See our comparison of the size of pots we usually use and tips for caring for succulents and cacti here !
