Sarcocaulon Vanderietiae

Sarcocaulon vanderietiae is a deciduous perennial succulent, the branches are up to 1 cm in diameter, sparsely thorny, growing mostly horizontally and close to ground level.
The thorns are thin and the leaves are small, fleshy, light green and broadly elliptical and heart-shaped.
