Pachyphytum compactum is a succulent plant with a short, well-branched stem.
This succulent tends to grow both tall and wide, giving rise to a rounded shrub.
The leaves are distinctively patterned with lots of color (especially when stressed by cold or drought) and resemble the texture of a diamond, hence their name. See our comparison of the size of pots we usually use and tips for caring for succulents and cacti here !
