Haworthia retusa is a succulent with bright green star-shaped rosettes. The surface of its leaves is smooth, with almost translucent veins.
giving the plant a very strange appearance.
When grown in nurseries, most plants have the ability to form large clusters.
(These are not always Haworthia retusa, but Haworthia turgida).
This plant is one of the most variable of its kind and in cultivation, dark green and lighter forms can occur. See our comparison of the size of pots we usually use and tips for caring for succulents and cacti here !
