Avonia Albissima

Probably the best-known member of its genus and very popular with succulent collectors, this avonia is a dwarf perennial herb that hardly looks like a plant, with several slender branches radiating from a conical rootstock, completely covered in overlapping silvery white scales, completely hiding the tiny fleshy green leaves underneath.
