Anacampseros retusa is a dwarf plant with succulent leaves and a short, thickened caudex.
The whole plant can reach a height of 4.5 cm as an adult (up to 10-15 cm in cultivation).
This species is so similar to Anacampseros comptonii in color and size that careful inspection is needed to tell them apart.
Its larger pink flowers, several on a stronger stem, distinguish it at a glance. See our comparison of the size of pots we usually use and tips for caring for succulents and cacti here !
