Aloinopsis schooneesii

This is an excellent succulent for making small bonsai; its thick root and trunk can eventually take the form of a unique mini-bonsai.
It has small pebble-like leaves and pretty yellow daisy-like flowers in winter.
It needs some direct sunlight to flower and, if it’s too cloudy, the flowers won’t open fully.
