Victoria-reginae is a very slow-growing agave, but hardy and beautiful.
It is considered to be one of the most beautiful and desirable species.
It is extremely variable, with the very open black-edge form with a distinctive name(King Ferdinand’s agave, Agave ferdinandi-regis) and various forms such as the more common white-edge.
Several cultivars have been named with different patterns of leaf markings, white or yellow variegation. See our comparison of the size of pots we usually use and tips for caring for succulents and cacti here !
