Echeveria ‘Atlantis’ Variegata: Treasure of the Ocean
Meet the Echeveria ‘Atlantis’ Variegata, a rare and visually impressive plant, where the classic geometry of Echeverias merges with a contrast of vibrant colors that evoke tropical water and white sands.
Features:
Contrasting Variegation: The highlight is its soft blue-green leaves in the center, framed by wide margins of a very clear creamy yellow or ivory. This division of colors is what gives it its special brilliance.
Wavy foliage: The leaves are broad, fleshy and slightly concave, with edges that may show a slight ripple, resembling the movement of ocean waves or the petals of an exotic flower.
Pink Accent: Under conditions of moderate stress (direct sun or low temperatures), creamy edges can take on delicate pink or peach tones, adding a third dimension to your color palette.
Care:
Due to the lack of chlorophyll in the light parts, the ‘Atlantis’ Variegata requires a careful balance in its maintenance.
Watering: Only water moderately when the soil is completely dry.
☀️ Lighting: Prefers filtered direct sunlight or full morning sun. Although it needs a lot of light to maintain its vivid color, the light parts of the leaf can burn under the scorching midday sun in summer.
Soil: You need an excellent quality succulent substrate that is very porous and drains quickly to maintain a healthy root system.
