Features

Otherworldly color: The rosettes form a visual spectacle that resembles twilight. The base color is a deep lavender-purple or intense yellow-pink.
Distinctive Variegation: The term “Variegata” refers to the lighter-colored spots and stripes – usually cream, yellow or lime green – that run down the leaves. This tricolor contrast maximizes the visual impact.

Brightness (Color Key): Prefers full morning sun or very bright indirect light during the day. Adequate sun exposure (and the moderate cold of winter/autumn) is what brings out the purple and pink tones.
Watch out for summer (dormancy): Like all Aeoniums, it goes into dormancy in summer (the hottest period), when the rosettes close up to conserve moisture. Reduce watering at this time and protect it from the most intense afternoon sun to avoid burning the variegated parts, which are more sensitive.
