Astrophytum myriostigma var.
Nudum , also known as “Hekiran” in Japanese, is very similar to the other myriostigma, differing only in the lack of white spots, giving it a bright green, blue-green or gray-green color, depending on the clones.
The flowers are usually yellow and bloom between spring and early summer. This species takes about 6 years to sprout its first flowers. See our comparison of the size of pots we usually use and tips for caring for succulents and cacti here !
